I really can't recommend this company enough. I spent a long time getting multiple bids from electricians about our very complicated, long list of tasks (new circuits, bathroom fans, ceiling lights, fixing plugs, etc.) for our new home, and I'm so happy I ended up with Smart Electric. Joe the owner, who did our bid, was amazing in communicating with me about all our list items, and helped me find an unconventional solution to a unique problem we had with our old house, one that multiple other contractors wouldn't even touch. He even spent time on the phone with me on his days off helping me work out this out. We did the initial bid over the phone with photos, which worked out well and took up less of my time than other visiting electricians, and I liked that I could text questions to Joe afterwards to refine our list and make sure the products I bought for installation would work. Their pricing was very competitive. Steve, Jake, and Earl who came to do the work were awesome. Great communicators and really nice guys, they methodically went through our list and got everything done quickly and professionally. There were some wonky mysterious things with our wiring, but they worked hard to figure those out and get them working correctly. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the work, and were very professional about one small mishap. They wore shoe covers in the home, and I was especially happy with their thorough cleanup afterwards -- can't even tell there were contractors here today! I cannot say enough good things about this company. Joe and Gabriel just came out to help sort out a weird breaker issue. Turns out my house isn't haunted, it just needed an electrical fix! Thanks guys! For details, see below!

*This is the thrid time I have used Smart Electric, I used them for light install and 2 electrical updating issues.
*Everyone is super friendly, from the office staff to the power rangers (and yes I call Electric engineers power rangers).
*Timley - I didn't wait more than a few hours for a call back and not longer than a day for service
*Fixed the issue for very little $$ - I was shocked, they are easily half the price of their competitors.
*So communicative, told me everything they were doing, issues and fixes.

I had an appointment to get my ancient gas furnace tuned up and I have to say, the technician Kevin did an excellent job. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would. It started with how nice and polite he was. He put a mask on when I asked without giving me a hard time. This is very appreciated. Then he noticed something was not hooked up (the fan only function) and he fixed it. Then he noticed the holder for my filter wasn't seated right so he fixed that (which was no small amount of work), and then he cleaned two areas of the furnace I NEVER saw anyone else clean in the 15 years I have lived here. Then he cleaned everything up and made sure to explain everything well and made sure I was happy with everything. I cant even believe the excellent service. On top of that he was quick, efficient but did not make me feel rushed. This ancient furnace is working better than it has in years! Do not hesitate to go with Smart Electric - they are top notch - oh yeah - on top of all of this great service, the price was $100 less than other companies I had out to do the same job! Best electricians ever! I called them in to troubleshoot an issue that had occurred when another company installed an EV charger at my home, which that company could not find in a 2.5 hour troubleshoot call.

Smart Electric identified the issue in 10 seconds, fixed it AND further cleaned up their work by adding some clamps and missing screws at my breaker. All while not charging me for the call and contacting the other electrician to let them know I shouldn't be charged for the previous troubleshoot.

This company was great from Setting up an appointment, pre approving a detailed invoice and the actual work done. I was most impressed with the honesty. Don't see a lot of that anymore. Unfortunately.
