We had an exhaust fan replaced and our electrical service upgraded from 1960’s 100A to 200A modern service, including an EV charger installation. The team did a fantastic job, kept downtime to a minimum, and everything works and looks great too. Smart Electric dealt with all the permits and kept us informed.  Verified I have used Smart Electric Services on multiple occasions.  They installed a new heating and air conditioning system in January 2025.  Today they were servicing my air conditioner.  My service person was Gram.  He found the reason for my issue almost immediately.  He then presented me with multiple options.  The solution involved the filter.  We discussed the best option for my home and he left went to his next call and returned with the filter system for the AC.  I then asked about a window AC in my sunroom. And he is giving me a quote to fix or replace.  He is knowledgeable and has excellent communication skills.  I highly recommend the company's services.

After many other companies came to try to restore power to my septic unsuccessfully, I was referred to Smart Electric through Generic. It was late in the day but Earl and partner (so sorry didnt catch his name) took time to stop by before wrapping up. They didnt have too, they could have easily went home and relaxed after a long day and have me scheduled for the following day. They restored my power within minutes. I am beyond greatful for their knowledge and genuine caring attitudes. Strongly encourage anyone in need of an electrician to call Smart electric FIRST, you will save so much time and stress. HVAC diagnostic and annual service.  System failed on a Sunday, i called and the Technician arrived same day!!!  Excellent service and i highly recommend this company.

May 2021 installation:
Cory and Joe were fantastic. The A/C installation went without a hitch. The overall cost was lower than three other quotes I had received for the job. At the beginning of the A/C install I noticed the water heater was leaking, and they were able to replace it the next day. I will definitely use them again.

I cannot recommend an electrical company high enough. Smart Electric Seattle is absolutely awesome. The entire team, Joe, keith, Devin, John, and I'm sorry there were more guys, but these guys are absolutely awesome.

When dealing with the office/scheduling, Liz was very helpful,friendly and answered all my questions. When Gram the technician arrived, they arrived on time, answered my questions and was friendly and respectful. Gram did the routine maintenance and found some concerns, connected with the manufacture regarding warranty and next steps. Gram kept me in the loop the whole time and answered all my questions.

Scheduled to have work done on our cooling system, scheduling was easy. Office/Liz was friendly. Requested to have Gram precious technician come out. Gram arrived on time, friendly, kept me updated on what he was doing. Completed fixing the cooling system  and also installed a new thermostat. Explained things in a way that was easy to understand, answered my questions, friendly and respectful.  Verified They were prompt to come when they said they would. While they were here, they spent a lot of time carefully cleaning each mini-split head in the house, which was a separate service I requested.

They also spent a long time diagnosing the icing issue while the system was in heating mode. This was a huge improvement from the very expensive misdiagnosis I had previously received. Their repair ended up costing about one-quarter of the previous quote, and I would not hesitate to contact them again for future service.

 Verified I've worked with Smart Electric a couple of times now, and they continue to impress.

I initially reached out to have a new electrical plug installed at our place. The team was timely, friendly, and very clean with their work. What I appreciated most was that they didn't just "do the job", they took the time to explain why extending an existing outlet made more sense than installing a completely new one. That level of transparency and honesty goes a long way.

Their communication throughout has also been excellent.

On a separate issue, I reached out about some flickering lights. After a quick back-and-forth, I was able to troubleshoot it myself (turned out to be the bulbs), and they were completely supportive, no pressure to book a visit, just helpful guidance.

There's a reason I keep going back to Smart Electric for anything electrical. They're reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely great to work with.

 Verified Smart electric helped us a few years ago when the power feed into our house (breaker) blew.  They were out to our house the next day and made a plan to replace the circuit breaker box while we were on vacation.  They went through the house and turned off the unneeded breakers for safety.  I just called today because we had some flickering lights and I was nervous that it indicated an electrical problem.  I immediately got a phone apt. scheduled with Joe, the owner.  In 10 minutes he explained to me that this was perfectly normal and safe.  I appreciated that he spoke with me at no charge.  I will be using them again for any fixture replacement and electrical work I do in the future.  I highly recommend Smart Electric!

Last step in a kitchen remodel was to replace the older, hyalogen under cabinet lighting.  Smart Electric was quick to replay, came up with a new LED option that would fit perfectly in the existing area.  In addition, it was the most affordable quote we received.  Verified Unfortunately we came across a mini emergency where one of our circuit breakers did not turn back on, after shutting off the electricity for other home repairs. Even worse was that circuit was utilized by the fridge and controlled electricity to half the kitchen. We were very lucky to get in touch and have Joseph stop by the same day (very lucky within less than 1 hour of calling). He was able to quickly diagnose the faulty breaker switch and repair the issue, as well as point out identifiable past/potential future issues given the age of our home.
