They were prompt to come when they said they would. While they were here, they spent a lot of time carefully cleaning each mini-split head in the house, which was a separate service I requested. They also spent a long time diagnosing the icing issue while the system was in heating mode. This was a huge improvement from the very expensive misdiagnosis I had previously received. I recently hired Smart Electric LLC to completely rewire my home, and I could not be more grateful for the outstanding work they did. This was not a simple upgrade. My home still had old knob-and-tube wiring, along with years of poorly patched electrical work done by various contractors and handymen before I purchased the home. The entire electrical system was a mismatched mess and a major safety concern. Smart Electric upgraded my home to a new 200-amp electrical panel, relocated the service meter from a dangerous location at the back corner of the house where power lines were rubbing against the bay window area, and installed a new mast above the roof so the utility company could safely run new service lines. The difference in safety and quality is enormous. In addition, they replaced and upgraded every outlet, switch, and light fixture in the home. They also made excellent recommendations for improving lighting placement and updating fixtures, which made a huge difference in both function and appearance. Devin managed the project and led the team with incredible professionalism. Johnny and Clayton worked alongside him like a finely tuned machine. It was obvious they respected one another, communicated constantly, and took real pride in their work. What impressed me most was how diligently they protected and organized my home throughout the project. Rewiring an entire house is invasive work, yet they consistently cleaned up, stayed organized, and treated my home with care and respect every single day. Devin, Johnny, and Clayton were all outstanding, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical work done. A special thank you as well to Keith for making the bidding and scheduling process smooth, straightforward, and very close to the original estimate. These guys actually show up on time—like, real time, not “electrician time.” I didn’t have to stare out the window for hours wondering if I’d been forgotten. The generator install went flawlessly. Clean work, solid setup, and they took the time to explain everything without making me feel like I needed an engineering degree to understand it. When the power goes out now, I’m basically the most popular house on the block. The service call? Same story. Quick, efficient, and no nonsense. They diagnosed the in house electrical issue (not related to the generator) fast and fixed it right the first time—no repeat visits, no guessing games. Pricing is fair and upfront, which is rare these days. No surprise charges, no “while we’re here” upsells—just honest work at a reasonable rate. And the technicians deserve a shoutout—they’re knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly take pride in what they do. Hired Mohammad from spark pro electric to help change some lighting in my condo. He did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price, and was very professional throughout. I will definitely be hiring him again next time we need electrical work done.
